Renting a Home from Swan

Most of our homes are allocated to applicants nominated to us by our local authority partners from their housing waiting lists. If you want to be considered for a social rented property with us you should contact your local council and register on their housing waiting list.  Social rented properties are usually let under a choice based letting system, which means you must  bid for a home that you are interested in and that is suitable for your needs.

If you would like to be considered for a rented home with Swan you should register at www.homehunt.co.uk.  All Swan's homes which are not let by a local council will be advertised on this website.  Priority will be given to existing Swan tenants.

Sometimes we have properties available to let at an intermediate rent which we let to applicants registered on the www.homebuy.co.uk or www.firststepslondon.org sites.  Intermediate rent is less than market rent and these sites provide information on homes to rent or buy from housing associations in East London and Essex.

For general advice on finding a home please contact the Allocation Team.
