Swan was a finalist in this year's Building Awards 2008
Swan Housing Association was the only Housing Association to reach the finals at the national 'Building Awards 2008', for the Bow Cross Estate regeneration scheme in Tower Hamlets (formerly known as the Crossways Estate.)
This was the first time that Swan had entered a competition of this size and to make it all the way through to the finals was a major achievement, particularly for a Housing Association, competing with the largest property develops in the country.
This award was open to housebuilders, developers or architects who have completed a large development in the UK of at least 100 new units in 2007. (For large phased developments, at least one major phase must have been completed in 2007.)
