- Access to local jobs
- IT courses
- Life coaching
- Help to secure your first 3 job interviews
- Group workshops
- Work placement and job advocacy and more...
If you are interested please call Lorna or Dominica at the Arbour Centre on 02077906578 or Daniel at the Bromley by Bow Centre on 020 8709 9745.
New community website launched
The Exmouth Computer Club are proud to announce that your community website is now live. Jump online and have a look yourself www.projex-e1.org.uk
The website is like an online magazine and social network for everyone on the estate. It is also a training resource for anyone using the computer room.
There will be regular news updates about what is happening on the estate and it is easy to subscribe to updates, by using the ‘tick boxes’ and RSS feeds at the bottom of the pages.
You can also get involved in the discussions online. It is a good way to get people to take notice of your views and find others who may think the same way you do.
Over 20 of you came to the formal launch on the 2nd July at the computer room in the Exmouth Social Club.
There was a demonstration by Chris Kilby, the Project Co-ordinator and an Exmouth Estate Resident Board
member on how the site works. The site was developed using ‘awards4all’ funding received last year.
If you are interested in finding out more about the website and its features please visit the website
itself www.projex-e1.org.uk. You can also attend the regular computing sessions every Tuesday and
Thursday, 4pm-6pm.
The computing sessions are free to Exmouth residents.
For more information please contact Chris Kilby on 0207 790 8556
or projex.erb@gmail.com.
