Most local authorities hold waiting lists for people who are looking for rehousing within that borough.  Each local authority or council will usually have a housing department who manage their 'council waiting list'.

You do not have a live within a borough to register on the council's waiting list, though each council will have restrictions on who can and cannot apply within their borough.  To find out more details on how to apply for the boroughs that Swan operate in, go to our local authority information page.

You may receive extra priority in some boroughs if you are a key worker which will enable you to access intermediate market rented properties.
