Swan recognises that the care and maintenance of an estate by a local caretaker can make a dramatic difference to its appearance.

Jorgen Dyer is Swan's Head of Estate Services and has many years of running a above standard service.
The Estate Service staff are all fully trained in cleaning matters and are also trained in reporting of repairs ASB etc. They also have at their disposal top of the range mechanical equipment to help them in their duties.
Diane Kett is Swan's Estate Services Manager with 9 years experience working with Tower Hamlets and 2 years with Swan Housing.
Diane is responsible for all staff training needs, she also ensures that staff 1-2-1's, appraisals and monthly staff meetings are carried out.She also carries out estate inspections in London & Essex area on behalf of estate services.
Cleaning Method Statements
The ways in which the cleaning tasks are undertaken are as important as how often they are carried out. The method of carrying out key tasks will be agreed with residents and then publicised. All caretakers will receive training and guidance on the various method statements on an ongoing basis.
Full Resident Involvement
Residents will be involved in setting standards and monitoring the service through joint inspections with managers of the service. Findings will be reported to Residents' Boards.
