The Foyer

Foyer ResidentThe Basildon Foyer offers supported accommodation for 16-25 year olds in the Basildon area. The Foyer aims to help single young vulnerable homeless people to obtain confidence and independence thereby enabling them to achieve their full potential.

By providing opportunities in areas such as training, employment and personal development the Foyer can assist in breaking the no home - no job - no home cycle.

Each resident has their own part furnished bedsite with access to shared on-site facilities such as the communal lounge, laundry facilities and well equipped computer suite.

The Foyer has dedicated project workers to assist residents to access training and employment opportunities and for general advice and help. Regular keyworking sessions are held by the project workers, and an action plan agreed with each resident, to prepare the resident to live independently.
