The Leasehold Team cover the following areas:
- Manage leases and help with lease related enquiries such as:-
- Staircasing
- Transfer of ownership
- Subletting
- Provide advice and administer the Right to Buy (RTB), Right to Acquire (RTA) process.
- Administering statutory consultation processes for major contracts.
- Service charge administration-Produce and issue estimated and audited service charge accounts for all tenure types.
- Deal with all legal queries regarding lease agreements including pre and post sales solicitors’ enquiries.
- Administer and manage the remortgaging, lease extension and lease variation processes.
- Enforcing both landlord and tenant covenants contained in the lease.
- Service charge arrears recovery.
- Contract management of third party managing agents.
- Deal with leaseholder insurance claims.
