Forest Gate - 0845 601 2289

Swan has entered into a contract with the London Borough of Newham under the Government’s Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Scheme, to refurbish dwellings to the ‘Decent Homes Standard’, and provide the maintenance and management of the homes in the Forest Gate area for a 20 year period from 2009.

Although London Borough of Newham will continue to own the homes in the Forest Gate PFI area and will remain the landlord, Swan’s Forest Gate Team is responsible for delivering the day to day housing management for the tenants in the Forest Gate area.  

This will cover the following:

• The management of anti-social behaviour
• The management of empty homes
• Assisting the local authority in letting properties
• Rent arrears recovery
• Garage arrears recovery
• Dealing with tenancy breaches
• Carrying out tenancy audits
• Carrying out estate inspections
• Providing a customer focussed service for the residents of Forest Gate
• Legal Action
