What we offer 

Our sheltered accommodation places the health and wellbeing of our older residents at the heart of what we do, with an emphasis on reducing loneliness and isolation.

We run two sheltered accommodation schemes for people over the age of 55 years

  • Oakroyd House, Great Dunmow
  • Boyes Croft, Great Dunmow

All three schemes are supported by a full time scheme manager who helps residents to maintain their independence and achieve their personal goals. We seek to reduce social isolation and loneliness by running inclusive, group activities and events for our residents.

All our sheltered housing facilities benefit from:

  • a communal lounge
  • laundry facilities
  • 24-hour emergency pull cords
  • a communal garden
  • social events
  • support worker
