In the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic, it’s become clear that we need to have an increasingly agile approach to service delivery in an ever-changing landscape. We are therefore keen to work with a diverse range of highly skilled supply chain partners who can demonstrate the ability to adapt and evolve with us. We are committed to playing our part in reducing our carbon footprint and delivering sustainable solutions whilst fulfilling our strategic aims. Our procurement activity spans across both local and national levels and we are keen to support our local SME’s.
Our procurement activity also has a direct impact on our customers’ so it is important that we work with partners that are driven by a strong sense of social awareness and a commitment to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency.
We procure a wide variety of goods, services and supplies across the group including, but not limited to:

All of our procurement activity must be carried out in accordance with our internal standing orders whilst upholding the highest levels of probity and integrity. Our supply chain partners will therefore need to demonstrate compliance with any applicable legislation including but not limited to:
- Health & Safety
- Modern Slavery
- Equality & Diversity
- Public Contracts Regulations 2015
- Any relevant professional competency required within your area of expertise or specialism
Our supply chain partners must hold and maintain adequate levels of insurances, appropriate to the nature of works, goods or services being delivered. In addition to this, it is expected that their immediate supply chain will maintain adequate levels of transparency, auditability and integrity whilst acting as a representative of Swan Housing Association.
We will work closely with our supply partners to deliver goods, works and services that are: -
- Fit for purpose
- Value for money
The majority of our contracts will be procured via existing procurement Frameworks, Dynamic Purchasing Systems (both internal and external) or via other suitable, compliant methods.
Whilst our future opportunities will predominantly be published on Proactis, other compliant e-procurement portals will also be utilised, where deemed to be appropriate.
