Leaseholder services

At Swan we have a dedicated Leasehold Services team. The team can provide support on understanding your lease and what is required of you as a leaseholder or shared owner, and what you can expect from Swan or ReSI Homes as your Landlord. They can also help if you are thinking about selling your home or looking to buy additional shares in a Shared Ownership home, and can offer advice on lease extensions, service charges, and any consents that may be required under your lease terms.

Update for the leaseholders who have their building insurance organised by Swan
18 April 2023
Now that Swan is part of Sanctuary, shared owners and leaseholders who have their building insurance organised Swan will from 1 April 2023 be covered by the Sanctuary Group Buildings insurance. This insurance is arranged via Aviva under policy number 100738986CPO.
Any claim for damage to your property under this insurance will now need to be reported directly to Aviva. This can be done by phoning 0345 030 7628 or 0345 030 7761. All claims are subject to a £250 policy excess (£1000 in cases of subsidence). This excess will need to be paid directly to Aviva. If you would like a copy of the building insurance summary, please email improvement@swan.org.uk
Any claim for damage to communal areas will still need to be made directly to Swan/Hera.
