Purfleet Centre Regeneration: Swan’s Joint Partnership Confirmed

Swan Housing Association announces that it will work with partners to deliver the long awaited £1 billion regeneration of Purfleet, Thurrock

Swan Housing Association is delighted to confirm that it today became a joint venture partner in Purfleet Centre Regeneration Ltd (PCRL) with Urban Catalyst as Development Managers for a major £1bn housing led regeneration of Purfleet town centre which will include a film and production studios delivered by Quartermaster Holdings.

The Thames-side scheme in Thurrock will see a new centre for Purfleet built alongside a world-leading creative hub, an improved train station and bridge crossing, a new primary school, other vital health and education infrastructure and up to 2,800 new homes.

Swan already has a secured development pipeline of over 3,500 homes and are an established local housing provider, owning and managing over 11,000 homes across Essex and East London. The majority of the homes in the development pipeline are being built by our in-house developer, NU living, with many using high quality modular technology. With an ambitious new corporate strategy which aims to deliver more homes to meet housing need, Swan are delighted to be working with Urban Catalyst and Thurrock Council to bring about this long-awaited regeneration.
