Swan Allocated £70 million of funding by The Mayor of London


Swan Housing Association has been named as one of The Mayor of London's six new Strategic Partners, to whom he has allocated £492m of funding to support the development of 9,937 genuinely affordable homes for London. Swan, who have committed to deliver an additional 1,375 affordable homes, have now been allocated funding to build 1,500 affordable homes.

Geoff Pearce, Executive Director of Regeneration and Development at Swan Housing Association commented:

"For almost 25 years Swan have been committed to delivering exemplar homes and communities throughout Essex and East London. We are delighted to have been chosen as one of the Mayor of London's new Strategic Partners, as it highlights our commitment to bringing the highest quality of social rented and genuinely affordable homes to Londoners. We look forward to building on our already successful schemes including Blackwall Reach, 360 Barking and Watts Grove."

James Murray, Deputy Mayor for Housing & Residential Development, said:
