Accessibility

This website has been created for Swan Housing Association, we want as many people as possible to be able to use it and so it has been built to W3C WCAG WAI AA standard wherever possible.

We use certain 3rd party plugins which we cannot guarantee meet the same accessibility level, such as Google Translate, Google Maps and Live Chat.

Accessibility standards include, but are not limited to:

  • Using a web font so all text is easy to read.
  • Size and colours of font and buttons have sufficient contrast.
  • Using alt tags for images to convey information.
  • Navigation through our website works in a consistent way and is usable with a keyboard.
  • Avoiding the use of images of text wherever possible.
  • Links have meaningful text.
