An update for Customers about Swan HA

We would like to reassure all our customers that our services to them will not be affected by the recent announcements regarding:

a) Swan’s Governance Status (which the Social Housing Regulator has downgraded from the previously published assessment of our governance and financial viability of G2/V2 to G3/V3)

b) or our potential partnership with Orbit Group.

Our dedicated teams will continue to provide all our customer facing services whilst Swan works with the Social Housing Regulator and continues with partnership discussions with Orbit.

We will provide further information to all Customers in Spring 2022 when the discussions with Orbit have moved forward and confirm we will consult with them about the potential partnership.  

Orbit has an excellent track record on delivering for customers and investing in homes. We believe that the geographical fit and complementary cultures of both Swan and Orbit will ensure that we can continue our vital work in serving our customers, regenerating local communities and delivering on our local partnership commitments.
