Better Queensway Regeneration shortlisted for Planning Award

Swan is pleased to announce that our Better Queensway re-development, in Southend-on-Sea, has been shortlisted for the ‘Award for regeneration’ at this year’s Planning Awards, adding to the scheme’s success in several national awards to date.

The category recognises how a scheme has improved, or is likely to improve, the physical or environmental quality of an area and/ or the economic or social wellbeing of its community.

These awards are about celebrating excellence in planning and placemaking including factors such as heritage conservation, urban design, economic improvement, partnership working, environmental and housing, which is something that’s key for creating a brighter future for everyone on the Queensway estate.

The overall winners for all categories will be announced on 9 June 2022. Best of luck BQ!
