Essex Care Sector Award success for Swan Care Rapid Response Team

The Swan Care Rapid Response North team picked up a highly commended award for ‘Team of the Year’ at the Essex Care Sector Awards 2022.

The nomination was recognition of an overall outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission for its rapid response service in Colchester, partnership working, good communication and specialist skills.

The team attended the awards – known as the Prospers - at Cressing Temple Barns, Braintree on Friday 8 July.

Director of Care and Specialist Accommodation, Shani Levy, said: “We all had a lovely afternoon celebrating amazing people and teams from across social care services in Essex who have made a difference to people lives.

“We felt privileged to have been shortlisted, but for the team to be highly commended is wonderful and truly deserved. Our care teams have had a lot to deal with over the past few years, however they continue to deliver vital services with compassion, dedication and a smile on their faces.”
