Along with development partner, Catalyst Homes, Swan Housing Association is transforming the former glass lampshade and bulb factory site on Blackhorse Road to create 359 affordable homes and an improved town centre.
The one, two, and three bedroom apartments, which will be available to purchase through Shared Ownership, will have private outdoor space in the form of balconies or gardens, as well as landscaped communal gardens.
The scheme will also deliver a creative hub for artisans, artists’ studios and extensive landscaping to serve new and existing residents, as well as new retail space in the heart of the Blackhorse Road area.
A planning application for this site was approved in February 2019.
