Adult Learning Courses
The WEA (UK’s largest adult education charity with over 50,000 students) are working in partnership with Swan Housing to provide adult learning courses to communities. Courses are free to adults who receive income-related benefit or who earn less than £21,000 per year.
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) - This course will help you develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English.
Community Interpreter - This course offers the opportunity for students who are speakers of other languages to learn about the role of a community interpreter.
Helping in Schools - This course gives parents the background knowledge and confidence to become an effective parent helper in school and / or to help their children’s learning at home.
